The SR8 is industrially designed and aluminium constructed to provide protection of the drives enclosed.
It dissipates heat fast and also comes equipped with two 9cm low-noise fans at the rear to consistently draw heat away so the drives may operate comfortably.

The SR8-U5D provides superior performance for uncompressed HD video content edit workflow with high-speed up to 800 MB/sec. in RAID 0 but also provides the flexibility of multiple RAID options up to level 60 for the user to configure depending on his/her storage needs. Its storage performance & reliability built into one.

The SR8-U5D utilizes Intel IOP 80341 RAID processor to greatly enhance the I/O performance of the 8 hard drives enclosed; moreover, it includes a 1G RAM for data processing reliability.

No software or setup is needed. Simply choose the required storage mode afterwards. ST2-WBS3 is designed for immediate use right out of the box with a simple insert of a hard drive. This feature will certainly speed up your content creation.

Three interfaces suitable for Mac or PC

Equipped with three high-speed transmission interfaces, eSATA 3G, FireWire 800, and USB 3.0. ST2-WBS3 is compatible with MAC and Windows operating systems and provides great convenience and flexibility. The ST2-WBS3 can be used with different computers so that users need not worry about finding a suitable user interface.

Independent Mode

Does not require match drive, JBOD is compatible with mix or match drive capacity. Each drive is accessed directly as independent drive volume. JBOD does not increase performance nor redundant capabilities. Each drive can be pulled out and use as individual drive or implemented to any SATA drive module, i.e.  Stardom i310, ST5610.

Speed Mode

To maximize data performance and add multiple drive capacity into one big volume. Data is distributed across multiple drives simultaneously to increase the performance .  RAID 0 provides the highest RAID performance with no data redundancy nor fault tolerance.

The SOHOTANK ST5610 Series is a quadruple drive storage enclosure system that will support any of the latest capacity 3.5 inch SATA hard drives for massive data storing and archiving. It’s industrially designed with durable aluminum exterior finish that’s built tough for hard drive protection of the highest grade and high durability for professional content creation applications.

Compact to suit any desktop environment

Although the ST5610 Series holds up to four 3.5 inch drives and includes a 200 watt power supply, the overall size (approx. 6.5 inches tall x 5 inches wide) of the enclosure is compact and will not take up much room of your desktop space. Moreover, the system is equipped with a large quiet fan for continuous drawing away heat from the inside of the system for you drive to run comfortably.

The ST8-S2P model integrates 2 sets of SATA port multiplier connecting up to 4 drives each with one single SATA cable to see and work each drives independently, effectively reducing messy and inconvenient cabling.
Two cables are all that’s required.

The ST8 Series is available in eSATA version or mini-SAS for the best output in performance. The SAS version is capable of accepting either SAS or SATA hard drives for the most cost effective and flexible storage system to own.
