Silicon Memory was originally registered in July 1992 under the name MemoryWyze Australia and incorporated in May 1994. The name was changed to Silicon Memory Technologies in 1996 to reflect its expansion from being a local market supplier to being a worldwide supplier to the industry. As a company that was formed with a solid foundation, it has become a leader within the Australian market and is fast becoming a major force in the worldwide market.

Silicon Memory has gained worldwide recognition for excellence in product knowledge and after sales support. Its has excelled due to parallel learning on the job, keeping in touch with the Global Markets, attending tradeshows overseas and daily contact with its suppliers.

Silicon Memory has the advantage over all local Australian competitors because of its connections in the global marketplace. It has contacts and sources inside most of the major multinational organisations in the world that manufacture the raw product, as well as manufacturing and designing simms locally in Sydney. POLICIES

Silicon Memory only has a few policies, but they are especially important when it comes to customer relations.

1. We only deal directly with wholesalers and distributors.
2. All products are purchased on the basis of quality, competitiveness and reliability.
3. Wherever possible, our suppliers are in the process or have achieved the ISO9000 requirements, or have been issued with the Global CE accreditation.
4. Where required products are C Tick Approved.
5. We offer a Lifetime Warranty on all Memory Products.
6. We value our clientele and endeavour to cater to all of their needs by providing on-going technical support and offering accommodating terms that are beneficial for us and our clients.
7. We ensure that if a supplied product is not functioning to its highest capacity or is defective, an immediate replacement will be supplied before the original product is returned, so our clients' working relationship with their client inturn is not hindered or strained due to time delays in shipping. (The industry term for this is "cross shipping"; it maintains a level of trust with our clients and ensures their work is completed without delay.
8. Clients can order by fax or email.
9. Orders received by 3pm will be delivered overnight.
10. If for some reason there will be a delay in delivery, the client will be notified immediately of the lead time.
