A Pioneer and leader in hybrid I/O technologies, Enhance Technology introduces the R4 ML , a 1U 4-disk Multi-Lane storage array designed as an expansion unit to the advanced R4 XP Series RAID system or as a secondary storage unit to an existing server. The R4 Multi-lane(ML) rackmount storage system equipped with one (1) Multi-lane port for host connection and is developed for OEM, VAR, & storage solution providers for daily Disk-to-Disk (D2D) backup, video editing, e-mail archive, etc. The advanced EnhanceRAID R4 XP model features MultiLink™ I/O technology which two additional Multi-lane channels optioned for cascading to R4 ML disk array system for storage expansion in addition to the built-in four (4) Serial ATA(SATA) I/II disks.
The Enhance R4 Multilane storage system is built on the latest hybrid I/O technology, Multi-lane, a popular SATA-to-InfiniBand converging technology to bring low-cost SATA disks to the broadband high performance computing environments with sustained data rate speed exceeding 230MB/sec. The propriety MultiLink™ I/O technology is introduced to connect additional disk array system through Multi-lane interface that helped resellers and integrators to offer more cost/effective storage solution to the end customers.
